National-anarchists believe that nationalism as it is defined by the state is illusory, and they advocate for the revival of a society based on tribes, with a focus on the preservation of traditions. They believe that a multitude of village communities based on ethnic identities should be established and achieve full independence from and against the state, which would then, like normal [[File:Awaj.png]] [[Anarchism|anarchism]], be joined in federations of unspecified character. These societies would, in theory, be segregated on racial grounds to bar inhabitants from miscegenation. However, National-Anarchism takes a strict stance against coercive measures, and is therefore ok with communities basing their identity on factors other than race, or allowing racial mixing and other profanations of [[File:SocialReactionarism.png]] [[Reactionaryism|"natural law"]]. Therefore, national-anarchism could be simply be characterized as a form of modern [[File:Leftpan.png]] [[Panarchism|panarchy]] with communitarian aspects added to it, since National-Anarchism fuses an ambivalent stance on hierarchy and polycentric law with a federation of communes run according to the wishes of the community. In shorter terms, stripped of the racial aspects, it is a synthesis of [[File:Socan2.png]] [[Social Anarchism]] and [[File:Leftpan.png]] [[Panarchism]].

National-Anarchism has an ambivalent stance on economics. While all national-anarchists [[File:Anticap.png]] [[Socialism|oppose capitalism]], many of them are ok with the idea of a market. Some national-anarchists agree with [[File:Ancom.png]] [[Anarcho-Communism|communism]], but many of them are more friendly to markets because they believe that communities should retain ownership over what they possess. Many National-Anarchists, including Southgate and Preston, simply believe in the co-existence of different economic systems, as long as they are non-coercive.

The only economic idea that they strictly promote is the ideal of [[File:Autarky.png]] [[Protectionism|self-sufficiency]], since they believe these communes would not survive without this.
===[[File:SocialReactionarism.png]] Aristocracy and natural law===
Unlike most forms of anarchism, national-anarchism is openly and adamantly against egalitarianism. National-anarchism believes that there are natural and unchangeable differences among men, and that the highest form of freedom can only be attained by organizing society according to the true nature and personality of the individuals involved in it. Furthermore, it believes that modern society, although hierarchical, has obscured the exaltation of differing characteristics among men through the imposition of arbitrary and artificial class structures like [[File:Cap.png]] [[Capitalism|capitalism]] that are based purely in the realm of material reproduction instead of the proper expression of individual qualities. National-anarchism believes that communities should have their hierarchies chosen based on recognition of talent and virtue amongst the peoples who inhabit the community. 

In line with this doctrine against equality, many National-Anarchists believe in "natural law", where law is established according to tradition and tribal solidarity. Among the things that Southgate has listed as being contrary to it, is [[File:Gay.png]] [[Progressivism|homosexuality]], [[File:Multicult.png]] [[Multiculturalism|racial mixing]], [[File:Fem.png]] [[Feminism|feminism]], and [[File:AntiAntiAbortion.png]] [[Feminism|abortion]].

National-anarchism believes in the blood-and-soil doctrine theorized by [[File:WaltherDarré.png]] [[National Primitivism|Richard Walther Darré]], which believes that there is a mutual relationship between the [[File:Ethnonat.png]] [[Ethnonationalism|bloodline of a peoples]] and [[File:Agrnac.png]] [[Agrarianism|the land that is occupied by these bloodlines]]. On these grounds, National-Anarchism not only advocates for [[File:Envi.png]] [[Environmentalism|preservation of the environment]], but also believes that environmental preservation requires a proper recognition of [[File:Racenat.png]] [[Racial Nationalism|racial]] and [[File:Culttrad.png]] [[Traditionalism|cultural]] qualities.

In general, national-anarchism proposes that people [[File:Rural.png]] move out of the cities and form bonds among their blood in the countryside. Their stance on technology is ambivalent after this. Some of them, like Southgate, support [[File:Neolud.png]] [[Neoluddism|the destruction of industrial society altogether]], while others support [[File:Antrans.png]] [[Archeofuturism|even further technological advancement]].

===[[File:LeftAntisem.png]] Opposition to Zionism===
Although not defining, an opposition to the zionist ideology is enshrined in the doctrine of national-anarchism. This has led to accusations of anti-semitism being thrown on Southgate. However, the extent to which it crosses over into anti-semitism is debatable at best. While Southgate believes in conspiracy theories that could easily cross into anti-semitism, such as the Khazarian conspiracy theory and Judeo-Bolshevism, Southgate himself is against these accusations, and points out that he has displayed an interest in many Jews before, and has even displayed an interest in Jewish mysticism.
