*September - The [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_Hoc_Committee_on_the_Palestinian_Question Ad Hoc Committee on the Palestinian Question] was also established in 1947 by the UN general assembly. 
** The Committees proposed the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Partition_Plan_for_Palestine 1947 Partition Plan], which was adopted as Resolution 181 (II) after several reviews and changes.
