United Arab List, commonly known by its Hebrew acronym Ra'am (Heb.: רע"מ; '''Thunder''') is the political wing of the Israeli Islamist movement [[File:Muslim 2.png]][[Islamic Theocracy|Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement]][[File:Zio.png]].
The party was founded in 1996 as, just prior the general elections, unrelated to the formerly existing eponymous Israeli stateline list political party.

Ra'am is described as "religious Arab Muslim party".
Ra'am advocates for full-fledged political involvement with the domestic politics of Israel in order to improve the quality of life of [[File:IslamZion.png]]Arabs in Israeli, such as, reducing crime in Arab towns, creating job opportunities, improving housing etc., which is a big departure from the historical Arab parties in Israel who largely focused on the [[File:Zio.png]]Israeli-Palestinian Conflict[[File:Cball-Palestine.png]] rather than on the domestic situations.
Ra'am supports a [[File:Zio.png]]Two-States Solution[[File:Cball-Palestine.png]] with the creation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital city. However, the party doesn't emphasis the need to end Israeli occupation on Palestinian territories. The party is particular popular among Negev Bedouins, because Ra'am alongside the [[File:Muslim 2.png]]Islamic Movement advocated and fought for the recognition of the Bedouin villages in the Negev Desert and for later connection of these villages to electricity.
Since the Israeli politician Mansour Abbas became the leader of Ra'am, the party became deeply affiliated with the ideas of the Palestinian-Israeli Islamic leader Abdullah Nimar Darwish, which isn't really surprising since Abbas is Darwish's disciple. Abdullah Darwish essentially became the spiritual leader of Ra'am, by this, Ra'am also became the factual political wing of the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement. Ra'am was deeply affiliated with Southern Branch before too, but during Abbas's leadership, Ra'am essentially became the its representer.

Both Ra'am and Mansour Abbas hold strong [[File:Anti-LGBT.png]]anti-LGBT opinions, Abbas regularly made homophobic comments.

Ra'am, despite being right leaning was previously affiliated with the [[File:Leftunity.png]]Israeli left, such as the Israeli-based Palestinian left-wing political party, [[File:Leftnat.png]]Balad and the Israeli left-wing to far-left political coalition [[File:Hadash.png]]Hadash. The latter of whom, mainly formed from the Israeli Marxist-Leninist and far-left political party [[File:Maki.png]][[Marxism-Leninism#Israel|Maki]]
