- ↑ Although this counter-revolutionary song deals with French-related themes, the lyrics are Italian, having been written in 1968 by Pino Tosca, a traditionalist Catholic intellectual interested in the history of the "defeated." He initially joined the right-wing Italian Social Movement and then joined the Ordine Nuovo and Europa Civiltà groups. The song was later popularized by Settimo Sigillo.
- ↑ While the original song focuses on Catholic monarchism, Ordine Nuovo's neo-fascist version completely changes the lyrics, removes references to Christianity and the King, and is infused with neo-pagan messages, such as "cry of the gods."
