Wisconsin’s progressive movement saw its peak in 1924, when La Follette’s third party presidential run won  nearly 17% of the national vote and carried Wisconsin.

Aspects of La Follette’s political thought included state ownership of railway, [[File:Farm.png]] [[Agrarianism|cheap credit for farmers]], outlawing child labor, laws promoting union interests, [[File:Civlibert.png]] [[Civil Libertarianism|protection of civil liberties]], [[File:Antiimp.png]] ending American imperialism in Latin America, and a referendum before any president could lead the nation into war. La Follette initially supported the [[File:Cball-RSFSR-old.png]] [[Leninism|Bolsheviks]] in the Russian Civil War, but later became [[File:LeftAntiCom.png]] anti-communist after visiting the young [[File:Cball-USSR.png]] USSR and learning of their anti-democratic tendencies.

It is important to note that this ideology is distinct from the [[File:NatProg.png]] [[Bull Moose Progressivism]] of [[file:TeddyRoosevelt.png]] [[w:Theodore Roosevelt|Theodore Roosevelt]]. The progressivism of La Follette was populist in nature and appealed to Midwestern and Western farmers, while Roosevelt’s progressivism was more elitist and appealed to Eastern urbanites. La Follette was also harshly critical of Roosevelt, considering him as not adequately progressive. He was also a critic of the [[File:Taft.png]] [[Conservative Liberalism|Taft Administration]]. La Follette opposed both in the 1912 elections, voting for [[File:Sewersoc.png]] [[Sewer Socialism|Socialist]] nominee [[File:Debs.png]] [[w:Eugene V. Debs|Eugene Debs]] (though he did not formally endorse any candidate).<br>

The dynasty started by La Follette would go on to have multiple important members: [[file:DepressionMale.png]] [[w: Robert M. Philip would be a governor, and found the National Progressives of America. While Junior would be a Senator, eventually killing himself (likely to avoid being investigated by McCarthy, or from depression). Bronson would be a lieutenant governor.

[[File:Hasanism.png]] '''Hasanism''' is an political ideology based off [[File:Twitch.png]] the Twitch streamer and political activist Hasan Piker affiliated with the progressive [[File:YoungTurks.png]] [[Mediacracy|TYT (The Young Turks)]] that has garnered a repution for being an edgy "Brocialist" and [[File:Sanders.png]] "Bernie-bro." A self-described [[File:ProgSoc.png]] progressive socialist, his career started when he began interning and later being a producer with his uncle's TYT programs. [[File:YoungTurks.png]] [[Progressivism|Cenk Uygher]] played a significant role in launching Hasan into the media's eye despite being associated with [[File:Compop.png]] the far-left, due to his signifcant online presence/popularity and becoming a streamer building his own brand. Born in [[File:Cball-USA.png]] America and raised in [[File:Cball-Turkey.png]] Turkey, Hasan has a unique perspective on [[File:Nonden Muslim.png]] Islam. He considers himself to be a [[File:IslamReform.png]] "secular Muslim".

Hasan has a history of making controversial remarks, such as saying that [[File:Lpop-tinfoilhat.png]] "America deserved 9/11", while reacting to an interview with [[File:DanCrenshaw.png]] [[Neoconservatism|Dan Crenshaw]], a veteran of the Iraq War who lost one of his eyes in an explosion caused by an IED. Hasan also praised [[File:Cball-Taliban.png]] [[Jihadism|the Mujahadeen soldier]] who planted the IED, calling him 'brave'.

Hasan became infamous for his "reaction" streams in which he broadcasted other people's [[File:YouTube.png]] YouTube videos to Twitch. During these streams he often leaves the room without pausing the video he is reacting to, letting them continue to play for his audience while he is gone. Many people whose videos were used by him without being credited, most notably [[File:Femboy.png]] [[Apoliticism|Jay Exci]], have called him out on Twitter for this practice. 

He also got accused of oversimplification and virtual signalling for [[File:Mach.png]] grift of the Gaza conflict, the most famous one is he calls everyone who contests him "genocidal freaks". Shortly following the 2023 [[File:Hamas.png]] Hamas-led attack on [[File:Zio.png]] Israel, Hasan typically devotes portions of his streams to either reacting or his fans brigading to subreddits or ridiculing one of someone's mainstream media appearances. The reasons for this recent change of heart have sparked much speculation. While Hasan maintains he feels morally obliged to respond to Israel's defense of the military operations in Gaza, other have speculated that Hasan is seeking to capitalize on [[File:Twitter.png]] Twitter algorithm rising popularity amid several mainstream media appearances and his own dwindling Twitch and YouTube channel metrics.

In 2025, during a livestream,Hasans dog Kaya could be heard yelping in the background which many have attributed to Hasan using a shock collar in order to get Kaya to behave, This  caused a massive amount of backlash and memes of Hasan shocking his dog. Old clips resurfaced of him grabbing his late dog Fish by the tail  and giving him death threats. He also put a bigger predatory dog and Kaya in the same cage in another clip. Piker  has denied that he used a shock collar and asserts  that he used a vibration collar instead.

In 2026, Hasan went to [[File:Cball-Cuba.png]] Cuba in response to the American embargo on Cuba reaching a point where Cuba was running out of oil. In there Hasan saw the difficulties of the Cuban people. Hasan was often criticized by Liberal and Right Wing [[File:Mediastocracy_flair.png]] media and [[File:YouTube.png]] YouTubers, mainly for Hasan owning a lot of luxury goods and that he was in a 5-star hotel in his visit in Cuba while the Cuban people were suffering, accusing him of hypocrisy.
